Day 41 - August 10, 2011. Meet Jayron Zapanta a.k.a Power J! One of the promising artists in the indie scene! His strength is his “eye candy” graphics presented in each of the pages of his works. Also, I am amazed of how Power J presents his comic cover. First, he executes his cover using traditional art materials such as poster colors and watercolors. Then, it is printed in a thick board paper where you can really be assured that when you bought it, it will last long. You can really say that when you buy his comic, there is hardwork and love in it.

Day 40 - August 09, 2011. Meet Oliver Leang or simply, Aki! He is an independent comic artist. He was once a published comic artist under Neo Comics! This kind dude is also my colleague in DAMeat.
The image above is the spread cover of Crimson Dusk. It is an indie series full packed with action and a bit of romance. The comic series is also offering a nice set of illustrations on each page. The graphics on each page personally gives me that Victorian meets contemporary feel. It is currently on it’s 2.5 issue!
