One sentence intro about yourself
My name is Ray. I am a full time Corporate Butler, part time Comic Creator and a 24/7 Komiks/Comics/Manga’s Absolute Boyfriend ! ♥

I released two indie titles via web and C3 Con back in 2001-2002, Vehuiah and Kosen Saga. Vehuiah is all about a music band and an angel of music who shares the same name. Kosen Saga, on the other hand, was about a young man who happens to be a hybrid of an angel and a demon.
What is your favorite medium? Tools of the trade?
Traditional medium, I am in love with my Copic Markers, Deleter screentones, brush inks, and manuscript papers. Digital medium, I use Paint Tool Sai and I am a licensed artist of the product.
Describe your drawing style in 3 words
I cannot describe. (it. lol.)
What/who is/are your motivation/s for starting your own komiks?
Everyday things, I am always motivated with my surroundings.Revel, my circle of comic creators whose illustrations and works inspire me the most.Takehiko Inoue, whose art makes me want to draw asap!
What made you come up with the idea of your title?
Vehuiah - it’s based on my birthdate’s guardian angel.Kosen Saga - Kosen is the Japanese name of Ray. I love using puns for my titles. I love creating new word via acronym(e.g Read After Midnight [RAM], Detective Ice [D.Ice], Fate Orb Xylia [FOX] ).
Which do you prefer, writing the story or making the art?
When I was younger, I love writing stories but I was terrible at grammar then. Haha! I focused doing artworks in 2003 - 2007. As of the moment, I love both equally.
What drove you into selling your komiks?
It was Taga-Ilog’s article in Culture Crash Comics which inspired me to release my self published comic pages.
Do you make merchandise of your komiks?
Yes, I release buttons, stickers and mini prints based on my original works. I also released tuxedo print tees for D.Ice in Tokyo.
What’s your fave food/drink?
Kobe Beef! ♥Shrimp! ♥Alfredo Pasta! ♥Mangoes! Mango Juice! ♥and the list goes on…
What do you listen to when you work on your comics?
TV noise, classical music, or instrumentals. Actually, the genre of music vary according to the genre of the title that I’m working on.
Original Character closest to your heart (or personality)?
Detective Ice - we both have the same type of clothing style and eccentric behavior.Kosen Kreuz - he is my first ever original character.
Kung gagawing pelikula ang komiks mo, sinong gusto mong gumanap na artista? ( Local) If your comic becomes a film, who among the local artists will portray the role?

What do you feel about fan fics when it comes to your comics?
I’m okay with fanfics.
Sinong character mo ang gusto mong may mag-cosplay?Which among your characters would you like the cosplayers to cosplay?

“Half”- Hybrid already has a theme song. Maku sang it for me.“Kutob” - If Private I Cafe will have its OST, I would like Rocksteddy to create it for me. If Luzviminda will have its OST, I would love to hear Kitchie Nadal performing it. I can’t think of any title.
What is your take on the local comic industry?
It was alive then. Then it went under a long hiatus. Now, I can feel its presence again. :)
If you’d be given a chance to work with at one of the big comics companies (eg. Marvel, DC, Darkhorse, Jump),which one? And, if ever, who among your (just one) OC would like to be seen with the big guys company?
I would like to work at Jump SQ. I want Kosen Kreuz to appear in its pages.

SANDAANG ARAW NG KOMIKS (100 Days of Comics)
Day 36 - August 05, 2011. Water Breakdown is the debut one shot manga project of Pat Roldan. Debuted last 2006 in Komikon. It was first published under Seraphic Assassins! The rights is now handled by Revel Circle.
This title was built with so much love and effort. The colored covers were all printed in a fragrant textured board paper. Also, Pat’s dynamic illustrations in each of the comic pages in this title inspired me to be aware of my panels.

36日目 - 2011年8月5日。水の内訳は、パットロルダンのデビューワンショット漫画のプロジェクトです。 Komikonで最後の2006年デビュー。これは、最初セラフィックアサシンで公開されて！権利は、現在レヴェルサークルによって処理されます。
このタイトルはあまり愛と労力で構築されました。色付きのカバーは、すべて香りテクスチャボード紙に印刷された。また、このタイトルの漫画の各ページでパットのダイナミックなイラストは、私のパネルの認識に私を促した。
