Maha, Magical Manananggal is a new magical girl parody manga one shot by Ray Magbanua (~Raykosen) which will be released as an independent comic and a Japanese dojinshi this coming November in Komikon (Philippine version) and December in Comiket (Japan version) of 2010.

It spins in the adventure(and misadventure) of Maya who was given the power to become “Maha” and save the people from the horrifying plagues of the Philippine creatures, Manananggal, by transforming into a magical girl and use her magical powers. The real catch is, as a magical girl, she transforms magically into a manananggal as well. She also belongs to the clan of creatures that scares her town. Though. she is a GOOD manananggal. Actually, a GOOD MAGICAL MANANANGGAL.
